60’s inspired! ZAZAII #InfluencersSeries debuts with Stephanie Coker

ZAZAII, flagship store for contemporary and high end ready-to-wear womenswear, menswear and accessories from foremost African fashion, lifeclass and beauty brands, debut its #Influencersseries with Stephanie Coker.

The TV Presenter, Producer and self-confessed foodie, Stephanie Coker dons 60’s inspired outfits to kick of the Zazaii #Influencersseries.

From her time as an MTV Base presenter to her London- meets - Lagos closet, Stephanie Coker is the poster girl for individuality and urban cool.

Born in Lagos and raised in London, Coker studied Media & Communications at London’s Brunel University, before moving to Lagos to work at MTV Base Africa.

She tells the ZAZAII team about the importance of her personal class and marching to the beat of her own drum.

“I have been asked this question a few times and I've always said fresh, vibrant, quirky and edgy. Now I know how to describe my class by just using one word. Versatile. I love experimenting with bold colours and prints. I really don't like to conform to [class] norms. I have a weakness for comfortable clothes and that often means leaving the house in slippers, shorts and a white tee.” She said when asked to describe her class.

As a celebrated media personality, the diminutive beauty knows a thing or two about dressing to influence. Stephanie cuts a stylish figure on screen in MTV’s Street Request.

On her Edie Sedgwick-esque styling for this shoot, Coker stated: “One of the things I love most about being a woman is you can have different classs. You can be a class chameleon if you want to. Clothing is how we express our emotions and our moods. A lot of the looks aren’t necessarily my class, but it was fun playing dress up.”
