Musician Kuami Eugene escapes death in fatal accident

Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene narrowly escaped death late Sunday night when his Range Rover crashed into a tipper truck near the CP close to DSTV intersection, just after the Achimota Overhead towards Dzorwulu traffic light.

The incident occurred around 11:30 pm.
ModernGhana editor Emmanuel Ajarfor, who happened to be driving behind Kuami Eugene's vehicle rushed to the scene to officer assistance.

Ajarfor quickly organized transportation to convey Kuami Eugene and a male passenger to the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC).

"I was behind them so I stopped and rushed to rescue them; that was when I realized it was Kuami Eugene," Ajarfor recounted.

He further noted that Kuami Eugene sustained a broken wrist and a deep cut on his right hand as a result of the crashed.

Ajarfor also took swift action by notifying the Achimota Police, ensuring that authorities were promptly dispatched to the scene of the accident.

After ensuring the car has been towed and the tipper truck driver taken to the police, he also rushed to the hospital to check up on them.

Despite the injuries sustained, Kuami Eugene's condition is reported to be stable, and he is currently receiving medical attention at UGMC.
