GIPC's Taste of Ghana 4.0: A celebration of culture, commerce and creativity

In the spirit of the December festivities in Ghana, the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) collaborated with the Ghana Tourism Authority and Ghana Export Promotion Authority to present the 4th edition of Taste of Ghana Fest.

Themed "GH: The Africa Dream," the event held on December 27 at the State House forecourt aimed to unite Ghanaians, the diaspora, and international visitors through a showcase of the country's unique cultural elements.

From food, art, and made-in-Ghana products to cinematography and fashion, the festival created an inclusive environment for the exploration of commercial and investment opportunities.

The day unfolded with diverse activities, including Winneba masquerade performances, dance showcases, a fashion runway, art exhibitions, a cooking competition, a canopy walkway, and a touch of museum and Larabanga mosque entrances.

The night concluded with electrifying performances by music superstars 2Bees, Adina, EL, and the dancehall sensation Shatta Wale.

In an interview, Mr. Yofi Grant, CEO of GIPC, expressed the festival's significance as a platform for connecting Ghanaians and the diaspora with potential local business partners, and investment prospects, and a celebration of Ghana's rich heritage.

He urged successive governments to continue supporting the festival's role in promoting "Made in Ghana" products and enhancing tourism.

Ambassador Mike Oquaye Jnr., CEO of Ghana Free Zones Authority, described the event as 'fantastic' and stressed its potential to substantially boost foreign investment in the country.
