Sarkodie's #ThisIsTema music festival returns in December

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has announced the return of his highly anticipated #ThisIsTema music festival slated for the 1st to 2nd of December this year at the Chemu Park, Tema Community 4.

In a tweet on Monday, the rapper revealed the festival which has cemented its place as one of the biggest end-of-year music events in Ghana, will stage a comeback after a three-year hiatus due to the covid-19 pandemic.

"We BACK like we never left #ThisIsTema Festival 1st to 2nd December TEMA," Sarkodie tweeted, expressing his excitement of reviving the concert that has welcomed huge audiences and top artistes in previous editions.

#ThisIsTema made its debut in 2019, bringing together thousands of music fans to witness thrilling performances from not only Sarkodie himself but also superstar acts like King Promise, Medikal amongst others.

The festival held in the industrial city of Tema, is known for its energetic crowds, world-class production and promotion of Ghanaian music culture.

It became an instant hit, consolidating Sarkodie's reputation as the 'African Rapper Number One'.

Fans have taken to social media in large numbers to express enthusiasm, anticipating electrifying back-to-back performances from Sarkodie and his All-Star lineup which is yet to be revealed.
