Ghanaian reggae-dancehall singer and broadcaster Blakk Rasta has opined on Sarkodie’s feature on Bob Marley’s "Stir It Up" remix.

The vociferous musician described Sarkodie’s verse on the song as one-way and nothing exceptional.

Speaking on his show on Accra-based 3FM, Blakk Rasta noted that the rapper’s attitude has tarnished the legacy of the legendary reggae singer and the originality of the song meant to praise the legend’s lover.

"You urinate right into the grave and walk away, laughing like a madman on heat. It hurt me so much that I decided never to talk about this issue," he said.

"What Sarkodie did was nothing but a desecration of the legacy of Bob Marley. It is so shameful; what Sarkodie did is nothing but a desecration of the holy music...should I go deeper? It is like a king has been buried, and you go and dig him up and steal the first gold and diamonds that he's been buried with," he fumes.

The BET Award-winning rapper took his credentials to new heights, becoming the first African rapper to be featured by a top-notch reggae singer.

His appearance on Bob Marley and the Wailers’ song, which was released recently, has earned him numerous applause.
