Gyedu Blay Ambolley joins #FixTheCountry campaign

Veteran highlife artist Gyedu Blay Ambollay has voiced his opinion on the ongoing nationwide social media campaign the #FixTheCountry.

In an interview with a Kumasi-based radio station Pure FM, the baritone multi-instrumentalist admitted that he was in support of the campaign.

“I am in full support of the campaign and I am ready to rally behind the challenge because I realized it was for the benefit of the country,” he told Hammer Nti.

He however added that he was happy with some politicians rebutting supporters of the campaign by asking them to fix their habits.

“I have observed that the politicians have started tasking Ghanaians to check themselves first but these are the same people are the ones we voted into power,

Pay them with task payers money, they drive flashy cars and yet the ordinary Ghanaian does not enjoy any these privileges so to the best of my opinion they should help fix the country and make the country good for citizen then we can talk about the citizens fixing themselves,” he stated.

Gyedu Blay will amongst the many celebrities who have lodged in their support for the ongoing social media campaign.
