Bechem Utd CEO Urge GFA To Donate Part Of FIFA Stimulus Package To Gov’t
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bechem United, Nana Kwasi Darlyn has charged the Ghana Football Association to donate part of the incoming FIFA stimulus package to the government to help in the fight against the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.
According to him, this will give an indication to the government that the football association is responsible and will serve them well in the future when they go seeking help.
“Personally I think there must be a donation to government’s Covid-19 fund so that they will see that GFA is responsible so that it will not portray the picture that we always want to receive”, Nana Kwasi Darlyn said in an interview with Asempa FM on Monday morning.
He added, “If we allocate even a small amount to them and government notices that we are responsible, then they might even consider topping up the money for us because of our kind gesture.
“I want us to show the government that we are responsible. I don’t think it’s something that’s difficult, the Ex-Co will sit down and realize this makes sense so they will pick it up”.
