KP Boateng Happy To Score For US Sassuolo On Competitive Debut

Ghana international, Kevin Prince Boateng has expressed his satisfaction after scoring on his competitive debut for Italian side Sassuolo as they thrashed Ternana 5-1 in the Coppa Italia on Sunday.

The 31-year-old began his competitive campaign by scoring the opener in the 5-1 mauling of the lower tier side.

His fellow countryman, Alfred Duncan was also on the scoresheet 20 minutes after Boateng had scored.

The former AC Milan and Las Palmas midfield powerhouse has been very impressive since joining the Italians in the summer transfer window from German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, where he had a stellar campaign by winning the DFB Pokal.

He signed a three year deal with the green and Blacks, and he is expected to use his experience to help the team finish in a good position.
