Emmanuel Banahene Signs For Egyptian Cub Ittihad Alexandria

According to Ghanasportsonline.com, Emmanuel Banahene has made a switch to Egyptian side Al-Ittihad Alexandria.

The former Ghana U-17 striker signed for the club after halting his contract with Omani side Al Minaa.

It is believed that Ittihad Alexandria signed the energetic striker due to his previous exploits and impressive performance has exhibited in the Egyptian Premier League for Ismaili where he scored numerous goals for the club.

The former Hearts of Lion's goal poacher hit the grounds running in his first stint in the North African country where he scored 22 goals in two seasons for Ismaili before departing from the club.

Manager for side Al-Ittihad Alexandria, Jean-Michel Cavalli secured the signature of Banahene to help solve the team’s goal scoring problems.

After 16 matches played in the Egyptian Premier League, Ittihad Alexandria are currently on the 14th position with 15 points.
