Saddick Adams Applauds Steve Pollack; Insists He Is More Than A Coach
Asante Kotoko striker, Saddick Adams has heaped praises on coach Steve Pollack and have insisted he is more than a football coach.
The former Berekum Chelsea gaffer steered the Porcupine Warriors to the 5th position accumulating 43 points in the just ended Ghana Premier League and surprisingly defeated their bitterest rivals, Hearts of Oak 3:1 to win the MTN FA Cup at Tamale Sports Stadium.
In an interview with Kumasi based Silver FM, the former Atletico Madrid disclosed exciting and dramatic moments experienced ahead of last month's showdown against Hearts of Oak.
"Before the MTN FA Cup final game at Tamale, Polack led the players including me into writing a quiz, answering questions about the history of football and the club Kotoko... There was fun at camp and this drew the player’s attention from the game at hand.
"Polack will push you to succeed and force you to persevere to limits you never thought possible.
"That is how the game of football is approached" Saddick stressed.
Asante Kotoko will represent the country in next year’s CAF Confederations.
