FIFA Orders Saudi Club Al-Ittihad To Pay Sulley Muntari US$5million As Outstanding Salary
FIFA have ordered Saudi Arabia Club Ittihad Jeddah to pay Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari an amount of SAR 20 million (US$5,333,049).
Muntari dragged the Saudi Pro League giants to the Federations of International Football after the Club had failed to pay his wages and bonuses during his time at the Club.
The Ghanaian international joined the Saudi Club as a free agent after leaving Italian Club AC Milan.
Checks reveal the player had not received any salary since joining the Club, however Ittihad Jeddah failed to pay him off upon ending his contract, a situation which forced the former Inter-Milan man to reported the case to the World football governing body.
