Inter Allies vice captain confident side will avoid relegation
Assistant captain of Inter Allies Simon Martey is optimistic the stuggling club will not down in the Ghana Premier league this season.
The Eleven is One lads have not had the best of season as they currently occupy the last but one spot with barely 19 points.
Veteran coach Herbert Addo was shown the exit following a string of poor results and replaced by Jimmy Cobblah but thus far the former All Stars trainer has not not been able to turn around dwindling fortune of the Tema-based side.
However, after their 1-1 stalemate against second placed Asante Kotoko on Saturday, Martey pledged to help the club avoid relegation.
'We are not in a good position. For me I will try my possible best to help the Club avoid relegation,' he said after their 1-1 draw with Kotoko.
'At this time you need to win your matches. You but I don't have to drop points.
'I hope everything goes well for us in our subsequent matches but I am confident we are not going to be relegated.'
