All Stars’ Star In Razor Form
The exploits of Wa All Stars' midfielder Maxwell Baakoh has attracted international lenses.
He crowned his pre season brilliance with a brace in the premier league opener.
Not only did he hit the back of the net in home game, but was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
The midfielder did not relent, but took his game a notch higher when his side travelled to Aduana to inflict a 1-0 win over the home side.
Again, the midfielder distinguished himself and left the Nana Agyemang Badu Park as the Most Valuable Player in the country's top flight league match day two.
In a post Award-presentation interview at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) secretariat few days ago, he said “I consider this as a collective success, I couldn't have achieved this alone, my team mates were part of this success story.”
“I will not allow this to get into my head, I will strive for greater laurels. Offers are flooding in but will move at the right time,” he added.
He is scheduled for trials in Norway and he has promised to give his best shot in his quest to make impact internationally.
