Ex-Kotoko and Hearts coach Ernst Middendorp as quit as the head coach South African side Free State Stars.
The German pulled the plugs after the club's lack of transfer activity.
Middendorp is set to take over at Maritzburg United in the year.
Middendorp lasted just 110 days in the Free State after being appointed as head coach back in September.
His next job, thought to be Maritzburg, will be his 12th job in the last 10 years.
