AshantiGold midfielder Eric Opoku has been named the Footballer of the Season for the 2014/2015 campaign at Friday night's award ceremony in Accra.
The club's deputy captain was picked ahead of striker Kofi Owusu, who the league's top scorer with 19 goals and goalkeeper Richard Ofori of Wa All Stars.
