MTN FA Cup awards: Kwasi Donsu beats them all to Most Valuable Player award
The sensational chap, Kwasi Donsu won the highest award of the most prestigious cup competition in Ghana at the 5th MTN FA Cup Awards ceremony held on Friday night at the Banquet hall of the state house
Donsu beats off competition from Robin Gnagne (Hearts Of Oak), defender Christopher Bonney of Asante Kotoko and Godfred Saka of Aduana Stars.
The event which was held at the State Banquet Hall on Friday also saw the former Berlin FC player win the Goal king after he scored six goals in the tournament.
His 6 goals included a brace against Hearts of Oak in the semifinal and a goal in their 2-1 victory over Asante Kotoko in the grand finale.
He received a 1,000 Ghana cedi cash prize and a weekend at Beige Village Golf Resort and Spa.
Mighty Jets' Emmanuel Eli Keke also won the most promising Award while Aduana's Godfred Saka emerged as the best defender.
Other Award winners on the night included Medeama's Muntari Tagoe and coach Tom Strand who won the best Goalkeeper and best coach respectively.
