Kuffour: 4-4-2 will lead to humiliation at World Cup

Former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour says playing with a front two at the World Cup could lead to humiliation for the Black Stars.
Kuffour who won over 80 caps for Ghana and multiple titles with Bayern Munich is uncomfortable with the system that is currently adopted by Kwasi Appiah with Asamoah Gyan and Abdul Majeed Waris upfront. http://http://allsports.com.gh/2014/02/13/kuffour-black-stars-missing-a-defensive-leader/
“Our current class of play is a problem for me because this class of play is rare. Our set up will determine how we play but with our opponents in Group G,humiliation awaits us if we dare to play with two strikers.
If you analyse our games against Egypt you will notice the weaknesses particularly in the away game. The game plan and tactics was poor. One has to be clever against world class opposition at the World Cup” he told Allsports.com.gh
The defender who now works as a pundit for pay TV network Super Sport also revealed his game plan for curtailing Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I like Opare for that job because he is very fast and Ronaldo does not like to chase too when there is a speedster on his flank.I also think Prince Boateng should play in the support striker role because he can fall back to support the midfield when the team has to defend deep.”
