Top Ghana Fa Officials Make Donation To Techiman City Fc
Prominent football leaders in Ghana have combined to make equipment donation to the Techiman City Football Club.
Presidents of New Edubiase and Medeama SC Abdul Salam Yakubu and Moses Armah joined hands with ex Hearts of Oak chief Fred Crentsil to making the donation.
A set of balls and jerseys were handed over to the second tier club – formerly BA Stars – who are preparing for their debut season in Division One under new ownership.
Businessman Charles Kwadwo Ntim completed the club's takeover in August for an undisclosed fee.
Ntim who also doubles as a Management Committee member of the Ghana U23 team thanked his colleague Presidents for the gesture and pledged to work hard to making the 'new' club great in Ghana football.
“I am very touched by this donation which came out of nowhere,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“The support being shown since I took over the club has been immense and keeps growing by the day.
“It is very touching and encouraging to know you have people to turn to as you know football management in Ghana is not easy.
