ALHAJI SLY TETTEH HONOURED
Football management Agency-AY Global sports based in AccraGhana organized a memorial match in honour of the late Alhaji Sly Tetteh at the Dansoman Alive Park last Monday.
The match was played between Liberty Professionals old players and the current team. The old side featured players like Awuley Quaye jnr , Addoquaye Pappoe,Razak Ibrahim, Prince Amoako,laud Quartey,Kennedy Korley,Moro Ibrahim,David Kabu ,Moses Cofie, Reginald Asante-reggae, and Osabu Tetteh, Wahid Mohammed.
The current team comprised Razak Issah, RichardAntwi,Nana Tuffour,Ernest Baffoe,Prince Opoku,Tuah Khamis,Micheal Appiah, Tuah Khemist and Kennedy Ashia.
The old professionals had to come from 3 goals down to level up against their juniors to a pulsating 4-4 final scoreline. Awuley Quaye jnr netted all 4 goals for the old professionals with Kennedy Ashia,Ernest Baffoe,TuahKhamis and Zubeiru Fuseini fetching the goals for the young side.
The game was graced by current Technical Director of Liberty Professionals and former world cup winning coach with the Black satellites of Ghana-Sellas Tetteh, current coach-George Lamptey, assistant coach-Felix Aboagye and music celebrity-KK Fosu.
Amongst the supporting sponsors were rlg, Ghana Aids Commission, PKOG, Jusury Ltd-distributors of Blue Skies juice, senior members' club house inside IPS, Sizzlers restaurant and Voltic Ghana.
The programme will be an annual event which will be spearheaded by AY Global Sports - The AY crew consisted Abiba Yaro (CEO), Wahid Mohammed (Technical Director) and Dennis Moore (Media Co- coordinator)
