GFA: Kingston's attack on Rajevac false

Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association Randy Abbey has described as false, reports that Laryea Kingston attempted to assault coach Milovan Rajevac after the latter dropped him from the Black Stars squad for the World Cup.

Reports have been rife in the Ghanaian media over attempts by Laryea Kingston to assault Milovan Rajevac after he was dropped from the squad.

Sports Journalist Yaw Ampofo Ankrah told Joy Sports his sources within the Stars camp had confirmed the scuffle between Laryea and the coach and described the action as unfortunate.

Ace commentator Kwabena Yeboah was equally disappointed with the alleged reaction, describing it as "reprehensible," and called on the player to issue an unqualified apology to the coach and the entire team.

But in an interview with Joy FM's Super Morning Show host, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association, Randy Abbey said the reports "fabricated" and "concocted."
