Hearts of Oak sack head coach

Champions Hearts of Oak have parted ways with head coach Ayman El Yamani after only two months in charge.

Yamani leaves the club in eigth position after supervising 11 league matches with a record of 5 wins, 4 defeats and 2 draws.

A club official said the former Zamalek player agreed to step down on mutual consent and that details will disclosed on Tuesday.

"In principle, a club will like to have a coach for a longer spell but when there is an element of incompatiblity it's difficult for that to happen," the club's communication director Albert Commey told Ghanasoccernet.com

"I must say this decision has nothing to do with his performance but a coach's relationship with the players and management is key and that can cause his sack."

Assistant coach Yusif Abubakar will take charge of the team in Sunday's league match against AshantiGold at the Len Clay.
