Antwi stars among Ghanaian players in Europe

T here was little action from Ghanaian players abroad this weekend despite Yaw Antwi's goal in Napredak's 2-0 win over Vojvodina Novi Sad in Serbia.

   
Antwi continues to steal the headlines with his fifth goal in six matches to be regarded as one of the feared strikers in the Eastern European country.

 
In England:  
 
John Pantsil played the entire duration of Fulham's one-all draw with Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday after dominating headlines in a club-versus-country row initiated by boss Roy Hodgson.

 
Kevin-Prince Boateng was sidelined in Portsmouth 1-1 draw at Sunderland due to flu.

 
Bolton Wanderers and Manchester City split points in a 3-3 draw at the Reebok Stadium.
