Ghana and Petrojet striker Eric Bekoe became Egyptian league's leading scorer on Sunday when he scored to take his tally to eight goals this season.

 
Bekoe overtook Harras El Haddoud's striker Udul Abdul, who has seven goals, as the top-flight's leading scorer after his late goal secured a 1-0 win over Masri.

Petrojet kept trailing leaders Ahli bysix points upon beating Masri as the Ghanaian fights to return to the national team.

 
Bekoe has become of one of the most feared strikers in Egypt after his heroics despite not playing for the three of the biggest clubs in the country.

Meanwhile, Samuel Kyere scored for Police Union as they condemned Rahim Ayew's Zamalek to a 2-0 defeating, leading to the dismissal of coach Henri Michel.
