Ghana's Under-17 team will begin training on Wednesday ahead of an international friendly against Qatar's junior national team in Doha next month.

The Ghana Football Asssociation has invited 19 players to begin training on Wednesday under the tutelage of Ex-international Frimpong Manso.

The Black Starlets failed to secure qualification to this year's Fifa Under-17 World Cup after being kicked out of the African qualifiers by Gambia.

The team will leave for Qatar on Saturday 08 November and will get a confirmation of the match date.

The match has been arranged under the existing relationship between the two Football Associations.

It will be recalled Ghana's Under-20 team had a one-week preparatory stay at the renowned Aspire Sports Academy enroute to winning the Fifa Youth World Cup.
