Redknapp cools Muntari talk
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has cooled talk of a move for Inter Milan's Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari.
Muntari excelled for Redknapp during their time together at Portsmouth before securing a lucractive move to Italian giants Inter.
His time in Italy has been characterised by persistent rumours of a return to the Premier League, with Spurs often earmarked as being primary suitors.
Redknapp admits he holds the combative midfielder in high regard but has dampened talk of a bid in January.
"Not really no," he told Sky Sports News, when quizzed on whether there was any truth in the rumours.
"I've never made an enquiry about Sulley. I like Sulley he was a terrific player for me at Portsmouth.
"I remember that day when he scored two at Villa that day when he went there and played fantastic.
"Sulley is a top player but I've not spoken to Jose Mourinho about him."
Muntari also insists he want to stay at the Italian giants to fight for his place.
