Do it again Satellites

If the assuring words of Coach Sellas Tetteh after the 4-0 demolition of England - “We will do it again,” are anything to go by, then Ghanaians dream of ending their group games unbeaten would be achieved, when they take on their South American counterparts today.

With two straight wins against the Uzbekistan and England, the team's confidence has undoubtedly soared, and is bent on finishing group D tops with a hundred percent record.

Finishing tops in Group D will cancel Ghana's date with Brazil at the quarter final stage of the competition In separate interviews, the two coaches shown caution and respect to each other. Coach Diego Aguirre of Uruguay noted:

"Ghana have been great. They're very different from us – they are full of exuberance and their enthusiasm is infectious. After their win against Uzbekistan and England, they created a fantastic atmosphere in the hotel, which helped us to enjoy ourselves a little bit more."

Coach Tetteh on the other hand revealed that Uruguay are a great technical and tactical side. "They can move the ball extremely well, they're strong defensively, they have good midfield players who are capable of creating chances and they have strikers who are capable of taking those chances. But we have the advantage.

We only have to draw the game to finish top of the group, even though we want to win. The pressure is on Uruguay." Looking forward to a possible encounter with old foes Brazil, Coach Tetteh stated that - “Of course, Brazil is a factor in my thinking. I wouldn't be honest if I said otherwise, but the main concern now is to top my group,” added coach Tetteh. In the other group D game, England will battle Uzbekistan.
