Ayew spurred by Agogo mishap
RAHIM IS STILL CONFIDENT Rahim Ayew says Junior Agogo's turbulent spell at Zamalek is spurring him on to achieve more at the Cairo-based side in order to make a case for Ghanaian players.
The 21-year-old feels Agogo deserves the plaudits despite his troubles and attributes his compatriot's unsuccessful spell to language barrier.
That he feels is motivating him to be a major hit at the club but admits there is no pressure on him.
The former Eleven Wise enforcer is expected to leave with his new club on a scheduled pre-season of Switzerland on Monday.
The experience of Ghanaian players including Junior Agogo's torrid time at Zamalek has lead to questions about the wisdom of the move.
But he told Ghanasoccernet.com:"I don't think about it because Agogo is Agogo and am Rahim and we are two different people."
"I don't think about what happening to Agogo because when was here he was under a different management and I am also under a different board.
"Am now recovering but their fans are crazy about me because they saw me during the CHAN and when they found out I was a moslem, they all appreciate me and am cool here in Egypt.
