Arsenals appoint Quarshie
Arsenals coah Emmanuel Quarshie Emmanuel Quarshie has returned to the Golden City Park to take charge of Berekum Arsenals.
The former Black Stars captain replaces Ernest Appau who quit the club on Wednesday after falling-out with the club's management.
Quarshie left the Gunners last year after being appointed assistant coach of the national U-17 team that placed fourth at the world cup in Korea.
He then joined newly-promoted side Wa All Stars in Onetouch Premier League and guided to 8th place.
Quarshie handled the Berekum-based side to place fourth in 2005 season and made their debut in the Confederation Cup but failed to progress to the money zone.
He officially begins work today(Thursday) and will have to improve their fortune in the GHALCA Top 4 tournament.
Arsenals are at the foot of the log sheet having picked up one point from two games.
