Bekoe tops scorers chart

Kumasi Asante Kotoko's top striker, Eric Bekoe tops the scorers chart of the Onetouch Premier League with 13 goals after twenty four matches.
Bekoe who has missed the last three games of the competition due to his call up into the Black Stars squad for the qualifying matches of the 2010 World Cup/African Cup of Nations, is closely followed by Heart of Lions' goal poacher Emmanuel Osei Banahene with 11 goals to his credit.
According to the goal statistics gathered by the GNA Sports, Liberty Professionals' Sam Ayew Yeboah has ten goals while his teammate Yaw Antwi and Asante Kotoko's Kojo Poku follow with eight goals apiece.
As many as 81 players have scored a goal each in the premiership that has so far recorded more than 400 goals.
