2 Kessben Stars Land Contract

DAILY GUIDE SPORTS has gathered that two key players of Premiership side Kessben FC have landed lucrative contracts in Europe.

The two players, striker James Boadu and Daniel Addo, a defender, have successfully signed a three-and-half-year contract each with Turkish premiership side Genderbilirgi FC.

Frederick Acheampong, Communications Director of Kessben FC who confirmed the report in an interview with DAILY GUIDE SPORTS said the two players left the shores of the country recently for greener pastures in Turkey.

Though he did not readily disclose the amount involved, he stated that the deal was so mouth-watering that Kessben FC could not have resisted.

Mr. Acheampong was quick to deflate fears that the departure of the two players would have adverse effects on the team, saying, “Their absence will in no way affect the fortunes of Kessben FC in the league.

“We have talented and committed players in our fold who are being motivated by management to do their best for the team.

Also we pay them good bonuses to lure them to kill themselves a little for the course of Kessben FC so there is no cause for alarm”.

He added that the move falls in line with the team's vision of grooming quality players for the European market and promised to recruit quality players after the first round to fill the vacuum that the absence of the two players would create in the team.
