Medeama is prepared to equip Ibrahim Tanko for CAF Champions League campaign - Club President Moses Parker
Medeama SC president Moses Armah has reiterated the club's commitment to providing head coach Ibrahim Tanko with all the necessary support to mount a strong challenge in the upcoming CAF Champions League.
The Tarkwa-based club secured qualification for Africa's premier club competition after winning the Ghana Premier League title last season and is now focused on making a significant impression on the continental stage.
Speaking ahead of the team's preparations, Armah stressed that the club's management is determined to strengthen the squad and create the ideal environment for the technical team to succeed.
He explained that Medeama's ambition extends beyond simply representing Ghana, insisting the club is targeting a competitive campaign against the continent's top sides.
According to Armah, management will work closely with Tanko and his technical staff to identify the team's needs, including reinforcing the playing squad and ensuring the necessary logistical support is in place.
"We are committed to equipping the head coach [Ibrahim Tanko] with everything necessary to build a competitive team. Our goal is to have a successful CAF Champions League campaign and make our supporters proud," he said.
Medeama will be hoping to surpass their previous performances in continental competitions as they prepare to take on some of Africa's biggest clubs.
With thorough preparations, strategic additions to the squad and the unwavering support of management and supporters, the reigning Ghana Premier League champions believe they have what it takes to make a meaningful impact in this season's CAF Champions League.
