Kingson will join the technical team led by newly appointed head coach Nebojsa Kapor, who has signed a two-year contract with the Phobians as the club begins preparations for the new season.
The 47-year-old former goalkeeper brings a wealth of experience to Hearts of Oak following a distinguished international career with Ghana. Kingson earned more than 90 caps for the Black Stars and was part of the squad that made history at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups.
He played a key role in Ghana’s memorable run to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, while also representing the country at several Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
At club level, Kingson built an impressive career with spells in Turkey, Sweden, England and Cyprus, gaining valuable experience in some of Europe’s competitive leagues.
His appointment is expected to strengthen Hearts of Oak’s technical setup as the club seeks to build a competitive squad for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
