Dumelo Sponsors Free World Cup Viewing Centres Across Ayawaso West Wuogon
Residents of Ayawaso West Wuogon will enjoy a vibrant, communal World Cup experience thanks to a new initiative by their Member of Parliament, John Dumelo.
The MP has fully paid for DStv subscriptions for several viewing centres across the constituency, removing financial barriers for football fans eager to follow the tournament. Large outdoor screens are also being mounted at key locations including Abelemkpe Astro Turf Park, Okponglo, Mempasem, Airport Residential Area, West Legon and Dzorwulu.
These centres are expected to serve as major gathering points, especially during matches involving the Black Stars.
To add to the excitement, Dumelo has partnered with local kenkey vendors to provide free kenkey and fish during Ghana’s games — a move that both supports small businesses and enhances the festive atmosphere.
He urged residents and Ghanaians nationwide to rally behind the Black Stars, expressing confidence in the team’s prospects.
The initiative has already generated buzz across the constituency, with many residents welcoming the opportunity to enjoy the World Cup together while strengthening community bonds.
