Kwame Peprah wins Cambodian Premier League title with Svay Rieng after stellar season in Asia
Ghanaian forward Kwame Peprah has enjoyed a remarkable campaign in Asia after helping Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC secure the 2025/26 Cambodian Premier League title.
The former King Faisal striker played a pivotal role in Svay Rieng’s dominant season, scoring 24 goals and providing seven assists as the club finished top of the table with 66 points.
Peprah’s outstanding form also earned him the Golden Boot at the 2025/26 AFC Challenge League after he netted eight goals and registered two assists in just eight matches during the continental competition.
The 25-year-old has rediscovered his scoring touch since moving to Cambodia, establishing himself as one of the most prolific forwards in the region.
Peprah previously featured for Orlando Pirates between 2021 and 2023, although limited opportunities saw him spend part of his time on loan at Maritzburg United.
Following his departure from Orlando Pirates, the Ghanaian striker moved to Hapoel Hadera, but his spell in Israel proved brief before he later joined Kerala Blasters FC in the Indian Super League.
Despite struggling to make a major impact in South Africa and India, Peprah has revived his career at Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, where his consistent goalscoring performances have turned him into a key figure for the club.
His resurgence in Cambodia has once again underlined his qualities as a powerful and clinical striker capable of delivering at the highest level.
