Cioaba Aristica pleased as Aduana FC hold Hearts of Oak in Accra
Aduana FC head coach Cioaba Aristica has welcomed his side’s point against Hearts of Oak in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League clash, describing the result as valuable amid a demanding run of fixtures.
The two teams played out a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Matchday 32, in a tightly contested encounter where both sides created openings but lacked the cutting edge to secure victory.
Speaking after the game, the Romanian trainer pointed to fatigue as a key factor affecting his squad’s performance, following a congested schedule and extensive travel.
“It was a difficult game. This week we have played three games. Two games away and one home match. We have travelled long distances, and some players are tired,” Aristica said.
Despite the challenges, Aristica praised his players for their resilience and the importance of securing a point away from home.
“It’s good that we didn’t lose the game. We have another game, and we will try to finish in the top four,” he added.
Aduana FC currently sit fourth on the league table with 47 points, with just two matches remaining in the season.
