Starlets Play England
MANAGEMENT OF the National Under-17 team, the Black Starlets, has invited players of the squad that returned from the World Cup to start camping on Thursday November 1, 2007 at the GHANAMAN Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram.
Reports reaching DAILY GUIDE SPORTS indicate that the camping exercise is in respect of the team's preparation for a friendly international match against England Under-18 on November 20, 2007 in the United Kingdom.
A release from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) signed by Emmanuel Gyimah, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA, named the invited players as: Joseph Addo and Isaac Donkor from Hasaacas, Francis Baodi from Great Olympics, Abdulai Seidu of Samreka, Enoch Adu of Liberty Professionals, and Abeiku Quansah of Windy Professionals.
Others are Tettey Nortey of African United, Paul Addo (Fair Point), Ransford Osei (Kessben), Prince Gyimah (Berekum Arsenals), Baba Sampana (Shelter Force), Eric Opoku (Corners Babies), Meisuna Alhassan (Wise Fighters) and Philip Boampong of Maxbees.
