Mohammed Kudus has the potential to become a world class player, says ex-Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan
Former Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan believes Mohammed Kudus has the potential to become a world-class footballer.
The Tottenham Hotspur forward has become an influential figure for both club and country, despite facing difficulties since his move from West Ham United. Kudus has managed two goals in 19 appearances for the North London side.
In an interview with former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand, Gyan lauded Kudus’ talent and insisted that the Ghana international is on track to reach the highest level.
"Mohammed Kudus is doing well," he said.
"I wish him well because he is someone who is coming up in the ranks, and people should watch out. I always ask him to take good care of himself," Gyan added.
Kudus is currently sidelined with an injury and is expected to remain out of action until April, ruling him out of Ghana’s friendly against Germany in March.
Despite the setback, he is still expected to be included in Ghana’s final squad for the 2026 World Cup.
