2026 World Cup Qualifiers: We want to end it with a win against Comoros, says Ghana coach Otto Addo

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo says his side are determined to end their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign on a high with victory over Comoros.

Ghana host Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT.

The Black Stars head into the clash full of confidence after thrashing the Central African Republic in their Matchday 9 fixture.

That result left them just one point away from booking a fifth World Cup appearance in the last six editions.

However, Addo insists his team will not be settling for a draw, stressing the importance of maintaining focus until the final whistle.

“This is where everybody should show how professional they are. I've seen a lot in football, a lot. I once led with my team 4-0, and we lost 6-4,” the 49-year-old said.

“In football, anything can happen. We're not done until we're done. I think we want to end this qualification with a victory. This is for sure," he added.

Ghana currently sit three points clear of Madagascar as they prepare for their final qualifier.
