2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Otto Addo to name Black Stars squad for final games this week
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is expected to unveil his squad this week for the decisive final round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana, four-time African champions, will face the Central African Republic and Comoros in their Matchday 9 and 10 fixtures.
The Black Stars currently top Group I with 19 points and need just a win to confirm their place at the World Cup, which will be staged across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Addo and his technical team are expected to name a strong squad capable of delivering the results needed. Ghana will travel to Morocco, where they will take on the Central African Republic at the Al Abdi Stadium in El Jadida on Wednesday, October 8.
The team is set to begin camping in Accra before flying out to Casablanca ahead of the clash.
The Black Stars will then return home to host Comoros in their final group match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12.
