Hearts of Oak unveil Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and new technical team
Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have officially appointed Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as their new head coach on a two-year contract.
Dramani, a former head coach of both the Black Stars and Black Queens, steps in to replace Ivorian trainer Aboubakar Ouattara, who has now been reassigned to serve as Special Advisor to the club’s Board of Directors.
The unveiling ceremony took place at the club’s Commercial Centre in Accra, where Dramani was introduced alongside his assistant, Abdul Gazale, who will serve as the first-team assistant coach.
The newly constituted technical team also includes Fiifi Parker Hanson as the second assistant coach, Najau Issah as goalkeepers coach, Henry Martey as team manager, Enoch Jordan Daitey as physical trainer, and Peter Boafo, who has also joined the backroom staff.
Dramani, who previously coached at Right to Dream Academy and Danish side FC Nordsjælland, is tasked with revitalizing the club's performance ahead of the upcoming season.
The new technical team will have their first major test on Sunday, July 6, when Hearts of Oak face arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the 2025 President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Following the Cup clash, the team will head to Nigeria to participate in the Eko International Tournament as part of their pre-season preparations.
