Don't be in a rush to leave Lyon - Sulley Muntari urges Ernest Nuamah

Former Ghana midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari, has advised Ernest Nuamah to remain at Lyon despite interest from European clubs.

The former FC Nordsjaelland attacker, until his injury, was a key figure for the French Ligue side in the ongoing season.

Nuamah has netted six times and two assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.

In an interview with AfricaFoot, Muntari has urged Nuamah not to rush for a move in the summer despite attracting a series of offers from some English clubs.

"Ernest is a player of pure talent. He's elusive with the ball at his feet, excellent in one-on-one situations, and capable of creating danger at any moment. He's a true defensive dynamite with a remarkable mentality. Despite his injury, he's generating interest because he'll come back even stronger," the former AC Milan and Inter Milan midfielder said.

"Regarding his future, I think he still needs to develop at Olympique Lyonnais before aiming higher. He's young, a regular, and playing in an environment that's conducive to his development. An additional season at OL could allow him to reach a new level before considering a move to a more prestigious club," he added.

Premier League clubs like Fulham, Everton and Crystal Palace have all been keeping tabs on the Right to Dream Academy graduate.
