Forson Amankwah shines with late brace as Norwich City stun Coventry City

Ghana midfielder Forson Amankwah scored a dramatic brace to help Norwich City come from behind and defeat Coventry City in the English Championship on Saturday at Carrow Road.

Coventry took the lead in the 24th minute through Milan van Ewijk, and the first half ended 1-0 in their favor.

After the break, Norwich dominated possession but struggled to convert their chances. With just six minutes remaining in regular time, Amankwah replaced Kellen Fisher.

In added time, Amankwah struck twice—equalizing in the 91st minute and scoring the winner in the 95th minute, securing all three points for Norwich.

The victory lifted Norwich to 11th place in the standings with 36 points. Amankwah has made 17 appearances for the club, scoring twice since joining from Red Salzburg.

The midfielder will look to feature when Norwich faces Premier League side Brighton in the FA Cup third round on January 11, before traveling to Sheffield United on January 18.
