Full list of qualified countries for 2024 CHAN tournament
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the 18 nations set to compete in the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Representing the CECAFA zone are Rwanda and Sudan, alongside the three host nations: Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The full list of participating countries also includes Morocco, Guinea, Senegal, Mauritania, Niger, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, the Central African Republic, Congo, DR Congo, Zambia, Angola, and Madagascar.
The tournament is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2025, and will conclude on February 28, 2025. Matches will take place across three East African nations—Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Host stadiums include the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium (60,000 seats), Namboole Stadium (45,000 seats), Nyayo National Stadium (18,000 seats), Moi International Sports Centre (55,000 seats), and Amaan Stadium (20,000 seats).
