Aduana Stars set to appoint Aristică Cioabă as new head coach - Reports
Ghana Premier League (GPL) side, Aduana Football Club, are set to reappoint Aristica Cioaba as their new coach.
The Romanian is expected to be appointed for the third time as the gaffer of the club after previous stints in 2011 and 2016.
Cioaba will replace Yaw Acheampong who was relieved of his duties after a series of unimpressive results in the ongoing 2024/25 season.
Aduana have picked up just two wins in the league this season suffering four defeats and picking up six draws. They currently sit in 13th on the league table ahead of the league's resumption this weekend.
Cioaba arrived in Ghana earlier on Tuesday, December 10, ahead of the official announcement and was met by officials of the club.
He has a history with Aduana, having first taken charge of the club in 2011 when he succeeded the late Herbert Addo. He returned for a second stint in the 2015/16 season, guiding the Ogya Boys to an impressive second-place finish in the Ghana Premier League.
