Saudi side Najran FC announce signing of Ghanaian defender Samuel Sarfo

Saudi Second Division side Najran Sports Club has confirmed the signing of Ghanaian defender, Samuel Sarfo.

The former Liberty Professional centre-back signed a one-year deal to join the club after his contract with AL Taraji expired.

Sarfo has spent the last six years plying his trade in the Gulf Region, starring for several clubs including Saudi Pro League side Al Khaleej.

"The management of the Najran club, headed by Mr. Hadi bin Hamad Al-Kulaib, has completed the procedures for contracting with the Ghanaian international defender "Samuel Sarfo" to represent the first football team in the 2024-2025 sports season," wrote the club announcing Sarfo's arrival.

He is expected to play a huge role in helping Najran return to the First Division after suffering demotion last season.

"Thank you Holy Spirit," wrote an excited Sarfo after completing the move to Najran FC.
