Ghana’s Black Stars hold recovery training session after defeat to Angola

The Black Stars of Ghana have held a recovery training session today after the defeat to Angola on Thursday evening.

The Ghana male senior national team yesterday lost by a goal to nil to Angola in their first game of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Today, coach Otto Addo and his boys have turned their attention to their next game against Niger.

The Black Stars returned to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium where they held a recovery training session.

All 24 players in the camp of the national team took part in the session.

The Black Stars are expected to depart Ghana for Morocco this weekend to continue with preparations for the second 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger.

That must-win encounter will be played on Monday, September 9.
