Saudi clubs join race to sign Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace - Reports
Ghana international Jordan Ayew is reportedly attracting interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, as per reports by Alan Nixon.
The former Aston Villa forward was initially linked with a move to Leicester City after their promotion back to the Premier League.
However, Nixon claims that several Saudi clubs are ready to compete with Leicester City for Ayew's signature.
This interest comes despite Ayew's impressive preseason performances and his apparent falling out with Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner.
Ayew was initially expected to play a key role for Crystal Palace following Michael Olise's transfer to Bayern Munich.
However, the club has since signed Senegalese international Ismaila Sarr from Olympique Marseille to fill Olise's spot.
The 30-year-old Ayew is entering the final year of his contract after extending his deal with Palace in November 2023.
Additionally, Saudi Pro League clubs have shown interest in signing fellow Ghanaian and West Ham player Mohammed Kudus, with plans to significantly increase his salary.
