Horseman Shoes presents sesigner footwear to Team Ghana

Horseman Shoes has provided specially made shoes to Team Ghana, who will represent the nation at the Paris Olympic Games from July 26 to August 11.

Madam Sarah Agyei, a representative of Horseman, expressed her happiness about the company's association with the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) and Team Ghana heading to Paris. She expressed her hopes for the team's success and potential medal wins, particularly highlighting the 4x100m relay team and high jumper Rose A. Yeboah. Additionally, she presented a pair of shoes to a representative of the French Embassy.

Mr. Kwab Asamoah of Kustom Looks, a sports fashion designer and manufacturer, also presented kits for the athletes and officials to the GOC. He emphasized the importance of showcasing made-in-Ghana products and designs at the Games, wished the team good luck, and encouraged them to strive to be among the best.

Mr. Eworyi Worlanyo of Republic Bank presented a cheque for 5,000 Euros, promising a larger reward for athletes and swimmers who win medals.

Madam Marine Hayem of the French Embassy in Ghana stated that Paris is ready to welcome both able-bodied and disabled athletes to the Games. She announced the opening of an African Fun Zone and a concert performance by Ghanaian artists Sarkodie and King Promise on August 10. She wished Team Ghana success, stating, "I am confident Team Ghana will excel in Horseman shoes."

The GOC President disclosed that the French Embassy is supporting pre-Games preparations with 20,000 Euros.

The ceremony was attended by GOC Board members Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, Mrs Delphina Quaye, Mr Albert K. Frimpong, Mr Michael Aggrey, Rev. E.D. Nikoi, Mr George Lamptey, and members of the Media Committee.
