Ghanaian duo, Ernest Nuamah and Ibrahim Osman have been nominated for the young player of the month award of July in the Danish Superliga.

The FC Nordsjaelland pair earned the nomination for their scintillating displays in the first two games of the season against Viborg FF and Aarhus.

Nuamah who scooped three top awards in the Danish league last season picked up from where he left off, scoring a hat-trick in a 4-2 win against Viborg FF.

The Black Stars forward started the second game from the bench but came on with 22 minutes left to help his team win 3-1.

Ibrahim Osman on the other hand provided an assist in the first game against Viborg, before scoring a beautiful goal in the second game against Aarhus, the maiden goal of his professional career.

Ernest Nuamah and Ibrahim Osman will battle for the top award with Lyngby’s Lucas Hey, Tobias Slotsager of Odense, Elias Jelert of Copenhagen and Filip Bungaard of Randers.

The pair are expected to play a key part in Nordsjaelland's season in the ongoing season.
