'Fraud' Prosper Harrison Addo must resign as GFA General Secretary - Alhaji Grusah

Alhaji Grusah has described the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo, as fraud and has called on him to resign.

His allegations come with CAS yet to rule on their petition that was dismissed by the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA.

King Faisal, who finished 17th last season with 42 points filed a protest against Tamale City for fielding an unqualified player, a game they lost 4:0 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

The 'Insha Allah' lads are demanding they are awarded the three points and the potential points from this protest could have significantly boosted their chances of avoiding relegation.

Following to CAS, the country's football governing body was given a 20-day ultimatum to respond to the appeal.

The GFA however urged that the case be thrown out, claiming that granting King Faisal’s request for a stay in judgment would cause more harm to the league and the teams that have already qualified for the Ghana Premier League.

“The General Secretary (Prosper Harrison Addo) should resign, he is a fraud and doesn’t know his job," he told Accra-based Happy FM.

"He is getting paid for doing what exactly. The GFA immediately released the fixtures for next season’s Ghana Premier League when they received the letter from CAS about our intention to put an injunction on the league," he added.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday released the official fixtures of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
